Caring Early Learning
From 2 to 5 Years
We’ve specifically chosen to care for children between the ages of 2 and 5. This allows us the unique, open-plan environment that we and our children love. Our focused age groups give our kids the chance to mingle, play, and grow together through much of the day, while their structured learning takes place in two age-specific groups
Whether your child is 2 years old or almost ready for school, they’ve found a safe, nurturing environment to develop their skills and grow together with new friends. Our highly experienced team of early learning educators are always adapting our activities to keep things fresh, fun and inspiring.
No Separate Rooms = Authentic Community
Parents love this because it promotes a true ‘family’ atmosphere, just like at home! Because we don’t cater for babies, we have the luxury of not needing separate rooms. Instead, children work in two groups, being pre-preschoolers and pre-preschoolers. These groups are mostly determined by age, however there can be some flexibility in which activities a child does depending on their abilities. Every child learns differently, and that’s fine!
There’s also plenty of chances for our two groups to participate in multi-age activities, and play time is spent in our shared outdoor areas and yard, or inside as a whole group. It’s an environment that really allows their social skills to flourish.

Shared Learning and Play
Our amazing outdoor area is perfect for our little community. This is where most of our play takes place, and children absolutely love the natural environment with trees and fresh air. Playtime at SPK Early Learning Centre is a shared experience, with children of all ages mingling together and discovering the world around them.
Older children learn to be careful and considerate to the younger ones, and we all know how the younger ones love to learn from their older peers. We actively encourage this shared play, with every child’s safety the number one priority.
A Great Experience for Siblings
Siblings who are used to being together all the time at home can find it difficult going to other childcare centres where they’re separated into different rooms because of their age. What we love about our setting, is that siblings enjoy the kindergarten experience together for the most part.
Even if they’re doing different activities in their structured learning time, they’re never far away and this provides a great sense of comfort to families.
